Pearle Hospitality Group is creating a new Burlington head office that blends thoughtful design, premium finishes, and flexible workspace solutions.
Founded in 1936 the company has always been about creating authentic meaningful experiences for each and every guest. From restaurants and a golf club to farm and luxury hotels, the Pearle Hospitality portfolio truly offers something special. In 2026 Pearle was in the process of transitioning to their brand-new Head Office in Burlington Ontario. The company selected SDI Design, a Toronto based award winning design firm to deliver on their vision.
After due diligence was completed by both SDI and a number of meetings with Pearle, mywall was selected to supply and install the Demountable Partition part of the overall design.
The Challenge
Pearle wanted to make a statement. An impact. Therefore, there were quite a number of specific specification details, such as 10ft high office sections that would not be tied into a bulkhead or ceiling structure, reeded glass sections, a special laminated bronze tinted wired glass walkway entrance and finally the finish for framing and hardware had to be bronze.
The Solution
Mywall’s H5T System was selected as it is a sturdy and adaptable system that allows for a standalone installation. To keep the costs down mywall proposed to use a superior reeded film which once applied to the glazing, is difficult to tell the difference from actual reeded glass. Mywall purchased the unique bronze wired glazing, however the sheets only come in 8ft high sections, and the walkway was 12ft in height, so a transom was created. Finally in order to match the ladder pulls to the custom bronze frame finish, existing mywall stock of black ladder pulls were stripped and painted to match.
